Kingaroy regional tour

Recently in partnership with Highway Church and Highway Youth in Kingaroy JC took part in the annual skate park ministry event including a schools tour to Kingaroy and the surrounding towns.

Not everything was smooth sailing on this trip unfortunately, on the way out to Kingaroy around 11pm the night prior to shows our trucks clutch blew and left us with not half pipe truck or transport for the week! Thankfully the team from Highway were a massive help and the schools where amazingly kind to us and we were still able to visit them and give them a fun and engaging visit and reschedule a halfpipe visit for another time.

The truck was able to be towed back to the sunshine coast and the team pulled together doing several school shows in Murgon, Wondai and Kingaroy. The team also spent the night at Highway youth were they did a small flat ground show and Josh shared a message, it was amazing to see the impact that God made on the youth on the Friday night and definitely a highlight.

On the Saturday Josh spent the day with the Highway team at the skatepark event with a large turnout and had the opportunity to spend time with a lot of young people and encouraging them throughout the day. Highway youth also generously gave away a radio bikes Darko complete to a well deserved young man and a scooter to another this made a huge impact on them and was very special to be a part of.

All in all this was an amazing trip very different from what we expected but God moved in such a unique impacting way.
