Open House- Nexus Church Recap 14/10/2024

This past Friday night, October 11th, JC Action Sports had the privilege of being part of an incredible event at Nexus Church in Ormeau: Open House. What an unforgettable night it was!

With around 600 people attending, the atmosphere was electric, filled with excitement, energy, and the palpable presence of God. Our team put on a thrilling action sports show that had the crowd cheering, but that was just the start of what made the night so special.

Food trucks like the ice cream van and the popular potato slinky van kept everyone fueled, while a massive 3v3 basketball tournament brought out some serious competition. There was also inflatable fun, soccer, and games for all ages.

One of the highlights of the evening was the giveaways. We were thrilled to hand out a brand-new BMX bike to one lucky winner, and Nexus Church topped it off with a stunning $1200 electric scooter giveaway—talk about a grand prize!

But the true highlight of the night was seeing lives transformed. Josh Fountain delivered an incredible message that resonated deeply, and as the Holy Spirit moved during worship, we witnessed something amazing—50 people made first-time decisions for Jesus! It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do: to share the love of Christ in every community we reach.

Thank you to Nexus Church for hosting such an amazing event and to everyone who joined us for an evening of fun, faith, and fellowship. We can't wait to see what God continues to do through Open House and beyond!
